I love spaghetti!

Kennon enjoying his dinner... and his new fork! And he actually uses it pretty well...

Kennon at the Christmas tree farm...

Kennon helped us pick out our Christmas tree and watched Daddy cut it down... now he is enjoying it at home and loving the Christmas lights. We go on nightly walks around the neighborhood where he oohs and aahs at all of the lights. Then we go home to read his very favorite Christmas book, Merry Christmas Big Hungry Bear (he smiles through the whole book!).

Could Kennon be any cuter?

Just a few pictures of Kennon looking really cute... in pjs and in his fancy duds!

Cousins and cookies...

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Grandbee and I had the opportunity to have all of the cousins together for a few hours. We decided to make cookies, wearing aprons and everything. Super cute! Here are Ellison, Noah and Kennon making cookies with Grandbee...

Noah and Kennon at the playground...

Noah and Kennon had a great time at the park over Thanksgiving. It is so fun to see them playing together... I guess the 6 month age gap is not as big of a deal anymore.. they can actually be playmates!

Noah loved Waylon and was really gentle with him!

Just for a laugh... I promise we didn't walk the neighborhood like this...

Home for Thanksgiving...

I am sure that you have all been waiting with bated breath for a post of the adorable Kennon Brown. Sorry it has been so long, but it has been busy. So to make up for it I am going to do a ton of posts today! Updates on Kennon - finally has started talking again - favorite words are ball, walk, all done, hot and cold. He is definitely a genius... He is great at stacking blocks, looking at books, kicking balls, throwing balls and throwing food!!! Here are a few miscellaneous pictures of Thanksgiving in Orlando.

Little Gator...

Here is Kennon at Cafe Gardens before the Vanderbuilt game. Loving his Mimi and Papa... and giving his mealtime hugs (his favorite!)...

Cute in overalls...

I don't know if there is any kid that looks cuter in overalls than mine!

A festival, a zoo, a bumble bee and a little ninja...

So we had a pretty nice weekend. I had Friday off for a teacher workday (I worked Tuesday night instead), so Clay, Kennon and I met Katey and Ellison for lunch and then took Kennon to the art museum. Although Kennon liked to look at the art, he was a bit too loud (screaming to hear the echo!), so we had to move on to the history museum. He enjoyed himself as usual and it was nice for us all to spend the day together. On Saturday, Kennon and I went to the Harvest Festival. Trev, Katey and Ellison met us there and we all enjoyed the excitement that fall festivals seem to induce... preparing us for the excitement of the holidays! For the evening (Halloween), we went to Boo at the Zoo. Kennon and Ellison trick-or-treated through the zoo, looked at animals (Kennon loved the ocelot) and showed off how cute they were! Neither one seemed to be bothered by the spooky decor, but a man in a monkey suit upset Ellison quite a bit... I guess she didn't like his style... Anyway, it was a good day. It would have been nice if Clay could have joined us, but I did make sure to take my little ninja to Daddy's work to see him before bedtime. Other than a new tooth that is causing Kennon (and Clay and I at times) some crankiness, all is well with us! Here are some pictures of our weekend...
