Happy Fisherman...

So Kennon was really happy this morning even though he had me up at 5am!!! His sleep is definitely getting better, but we have had a rough couple of nights. I just keep telling myself that he will become a good sleeper some day! Anyway, he was so happy, I took the opportunity to take a few pictures of him in his new Guy Harvey shirt (gift from Grandbee and Granddad). And Kennon has added "hot" (ot) and "tree" (tee) to his repertoire.

Pumpkins...

Yesterday, we went to the pumpkin patch with Trevor, Katey and Ellison. It was ridiculously hot, but fun anyway. Here are a few pictures from our day.

Playgroup at the park...

We had playgroup at the park this week. It was definitely a new experience with Kennon walking. He was very upset after realizing that walking on mulch isn't quite as easy as it looks. He would walk a few steps, fall forward, whine while looking at the dirt on his hands, and then start trucking along again. He was also climbing the steps on the playset and loving it. He is still a super-serious swinger... no smiles, just watching the action with an occasional point. Anyway, trips to the park are becoming much more fun for us... Here are some pictures of our adventure.

By the way, Kennon has been drinking cow's milk for a week now and has said a couple of words... bird (bir), cup (up) and dog (dah). And he is still saying banana (na-na). He is such a big boy now!!!

For those of you planning baby #2, do you ever worry that you can't possibly love the second one as much as the first??? I can't imagine...

Cousins...

Kennon also had play time with Ellison, Grandbee and Granddad this weekend. He is finally getting to the age where they can actually play together... All we were missing was cousin Noah...

Big boys need shoes!!!

So we had to finally give in and buy Kennon a pair of pretty pricey Pediped shoes. But I think it was a worthwhile purchase. He loves them and he can walk in them pretty easily. As much as I love his little Nikes, each one weighs about as much as he does (and that is a lot)... Now we can actually give our arms a break when we are out and about without Kennon's feet turning black! I also went shopping this weekend for a few winter clothing items and a halloween costume. Kennon is very excited about being a ninja for halloween and I don't think he could possibly look any cuter! I had him try on his winter jacket and he liked it so much, he played in it for quite some time... here are some pictures...

Sorry it has been so long since I posted. We have been busy! So, last week we went to playgroup at Megan's and the kids had a great time. Kennon was showing off his walking skills and playing with all of his buddies.
